Coach Boone Patterson has been selected as Caldwell’s new head football coach and athletic director.

Patterson, who was 11-12 overall at Snook in the last two seasons and 7-3 in district games, will succeed Matt Langley, who resigned after two seasons.

Patterson’s 2020 team won the district, bi-district and area titles before falling to Christoval in the regional semi-finals. The Bluejays finished 7-5 overall.

The Hornets were 5-15 (1-10 in district) over the past two seasons.

Snook School Superintendent Brenda Krchnak said she hopes to have someone in place by June 1.
