SEVEN PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK

  

Seven people pled guilty and were sentenced in District Court by Judge Carson Campbell this week.

Randy R. Johnson, 39 of Spring, had his probation revoked after a hearing and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a Possession of a Controlled Substance conviction in 2014.

David Earl Scott, 56 of Weimar, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Assault Family or Household Member with a Previous Conviction.

Abel Isaac Castro, 48 of Austin, was sentenced to 6 years in prison for Sexual Assault and Bail Jumping/Failure to Appear.  He was also sentenced to 2 years in state jail for Publish or Threat to Publish Intimate Visual Material.

Ricardo Cedillo, 49 of Lubbock, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Paul Jacob Ybanez, 38 of Bryan, was sentenced to 2 years in state jail for 2 counts of Burglary of a Building.  He was also ordered to pay a total of $19,889 in restitution.

Latasha Evette Garrett, 27 of Brenham was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of Controlled Substance.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Sarah Ann Freeman, 32 of Houston, was sentenced to One year in the Washington County Jail probated 2 years for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd offence.  She must serve 10 days in County Jail as a condition of probation.  She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, perform 80 hours of community service and have an interlock device installed on her vehicle.
