COLLEGE STATION SHOOTING: ONE DEAD, ONE SERIOUSLY WOUNDED

  

One person is dead, while another is hospitalized in serious condition following a double shooting Friday night in College Station.

Police are investigating the shooting in the parking lot of the HEB store on Texas Avenue near Holleman Drive in College Station.

One victim died at the hospital, while the second, who was taken by a private vehicle to a separate hospital, remains in serious condition.

Police received multiple reports of gunfire shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the store’s parking lot.

Police say it’s unclear what led up to the gunfire but they say everyone involved knew each other and this was an isolated incident.

No other details from police are currently available.
