MARGARET E. BLIZZARD SENIOR CENTER TO REOPEN JUNE 7TH
After 14 months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Activity Center is set to reopen.
The Washington County Healthy Living Association (WCHLA) announced today (Tuesday) that the senior center will reopen its doors on June 7th, with limited hours of 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activity rooms will not be available during June, but WCHLA officials hope they will reopen in July.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. in the dining room with limited seating. Reservations are now available, and can be made by calling 979-836-6552.
Guests will be able to play cards, dominos and bingo in the dining room before and after lunch. Arts and craft kits will be available to take home.
