BURTON HIGH SCHOOL MOVES GRADUATION TO HIGH SCHOOL GYM

Update @ 2:35 p.m.: Burton High School graduation has been moved from Panther Stadium to the high school gymnasium due to possible rain in the area tonight (Friday).  It is still scheduled for 8 p.m.

Original Story @ 6:05 a.m.: Tonight (Friday) marks the end of one life journey and the beginning of another for 29 Burton High School seniors.

The high school will hold its graduation ceremony tonight at 8 p.m. at Panther Stadium.

Graduating seniors will each be allowed four seats on the field, and the stands will be open for additional guests.

Leading the class of 2021 are valedictorian Jeremy Quinton, who finished with a grade point average of 4.1145, and salutatorian Benjamin Zapalac, who had a GPA of 4.1112.

KWHI will broadcast the ceremony starting at 7:45 p.m., and will also livestream the event on the KWHI Facebook page.
