BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE SATURDAY

Brenham Police made three arrests Saturday.
Saturday morning at 6:50, Brenham Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West, on a pickup, due to an equipment violation. After further investigation, officers located a stolen firearm in the vehicle. Suspect Sergio Vanegas, 44 of Houston, was taken into custody for Theft of Firearm.

On Saturday evening at 11:40, Police responded to the 900 block of Rhames Avenue in reference to an assault. Kenneth Edward Ball, 33 of Brenham was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Assault of a Family or Household Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.

On Saturday evening at 11:45, Officers made a psychiatric call to the 2400 block South Chappell Hill Street. Statements were gathered and Jamie Parsons, 34 of Montgomery, was taken into custody and was booked at the Washington County Jail for Assault Family Violence.
