The queen of the 69th Annual Grimes County Fair was crowned Saturday night.
Emma Shaw was named this year’s Grimes County Fair Queen. Kyndal Bohnert was first runner up, while second runner up was Autumn Atkinson.
Livestock judging at the Grimes County Fairgrounds runs through Thursday, when the Buyer’s Social Supper and presentation of awards and scholarships will be held at 5:30 p.m. The premium sale will follow at 6:30 p.m., and the freezer sale will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
The fair will conclude on Saturday with a dance with Jason James at 9 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door.
