WASHINGTON CO. MINOR ALL-STARS WIN DISTRICT 13 CHAMPIONSHIP

Make it 7 for 7!

The Washington County Minor Boys Baseball Team steamrolled past Columbus 19-0 Friday night to win the District 13 Tournament Championship. They became the seventh Washington County Team during this Little League season to go undefeated in their tournament and win the championship.

Briley Jasinski had a big night at the plate with two hits and reached on a fielder’s choice. He also had four RBIs and scored twice.

Hank Majewski had two hits and two walks, an RBI, and scored four runs. Nolan Collier added two hits, reached on an error, had an RBI, and scored three runs.

Taylor Brier reached on an error twice, singled, walked, had an RBI, and scored four runs. Parker Flisowski tripled, walked, reached on a fielder’s choice and scored twice.

Cooper Plagens had a single, a walk, an RBI, and scored a run. Logan Grabarschick added an RBI on a sacrifice fly, and Grant Asmussen also picked up an RBI on a bases loaded walk.

Washington County advances to the Section 1 Tournament that begins July 5 in Bastrop.
