Seven Washington County students are participating this week in the Texas American Legion Boys State.

Due to COVID-19, Boys State is being held virtually through July 2nd.

This year’s local Boys State delegates are:

  • Charles Boggan, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Washington County;
  • Campbell Groves, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Brenham;
  • Michael Holder, sponsored by the Republican Club of Washington County;
  • Reece Knebel, sponsored by the Brenham Elks Lodge;
  • Lance Maxie, sponsored by the Brenham Evening Lions;
  • Jared Mueller, sponsored by Graham Masonic Lodge No. 20;
  • Andrew Zschech, sponsored by Buddy Wright Post No. 48.
