LOCAL WOMAN CHARGED WITH AUTO THEFT

A Brenham woman faces an auto theft charge after her arrest, Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 3:00 p.m. Brenham Police were called to the 700 block of Matilda Street, near Henderson Park for a possible criminal trespass.
At the scene, police arrested 58-year-old Ronda Renee Brooks of Brenham for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
Brooks was taken to the Washington County Jail.
