CHASE LEADS TO ARREST IN FAYETTE COUNTY
A Houston man is in custody in Fayette County, following a brief chase Wednesday.

According to County Sheriff Keith Korenek, about 5:00 p.m., DPS was in pursuit of a reckless driver on I-10 near the Eagle exit. The chase had begun in Gonzalez County.
A number of Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies and a Schulenburg police officer joined the chase that ended near Schulenburg.
28-year-old Luis Argenis Velasco Gallo of Houston was taken into custody on charges of Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, Resisting Arrest and Failure to Identify.
Gallo was taken to the Fayette Co. Jail.
