THREE ARRESTED THURSDAY ON POSSESSION CHARGES

  

Three people, all from Houston, face marijuana possession charges, after their arrests, Thursday.

Just after 8:00 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the 2900 block of US Highway 290 East.

The driver, 19-year-old David Payne of Houston was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana.

Later Thursday, police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection South Bluebell Road and East Stone St. for an equipment violation.

The driver, 58-year-old Allen Danang Brown of Houston was arrested on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Just after 8:00 p.m., police conducted another traffic stop near the 1800 block of US Highway 290 West.

An investigation led to the arrest of a passenger, 32-year-old Christopher A Shepard of Houston was taken in custody for an active warrant and Possession of Marijuana.
