Brenham Pregnancy Center, formerly New Beginnings, has named its building complex after the pregnancy center’s founder.

The building has been named the Rayna Reimer Plaza after founder Rayna Reimer, who opened the center October 1, 2002.  The center serves women and families facing pregnancy-related issues, from unplanned pregnancy to pregnancy loss.

Brenham Pregnancy Center Executive Director Melissa Lasater said it is a “privilege and honor” to rename the building complex in light of Reimer’s “twenty years of dedication and commitment to this and surrounding communities.”

The center will recognize Reimer at an upcoming community-wide open house, set for Tuesday, July 20th at 4:30 p.m.
