WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER APPOINTMENT TO BAIL BOND BOARD

Washington County Commissioners will potentially appoint a new member to the bail bond board when they meet Tuesday.

The court is considering appointing Precinct Four Justice of the Peace William Kendall to replace the position of former Precinct Three Justice of the Peace Ken Tofel, who retired in June.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners will consider installing a new roof at EMS Station No. 2 in Brenham.  They will also look at issuing requests for proposals for professional janitorial services for the Washington County Expo facility.

The court will also consider:

  • Reappointing Brenham Mayor Milton Tate, Jr. to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments Board of Directors
  • A memorandum of understanding between Washington County and Brazos County for emergency alerting to the public.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.

  1. They are considering professionally janitor service for the expo center? Have you been in the courthouse lately. That is very disgusting that we the taxpayers have to go into that very dirty building. What do you think out of town visitors think when they come in and see this DIRTY historical building!
