BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER REPAIRS

  

The Burton City Council will address two repair items at its meeting today (Tuesday).

First up, the council will consider repairing or replacing the lights that shine on the flagpole on Highway 290 in Burton.

The council took up the item for consideration last month, when it received a quote from Harmel Electric for $1,876 to fix the two poles.  However, the council tabled the item, as the contractor did not provide full specifications for the repairs.

Following that, the council will consider approving Lucherk Services to repair Texas Street west of Railroad Street, by Los Patrones.

The council will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
