TWO ARRESTED ON WARRANTS FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOPS

  

A pair of Brenham traffic stops Monday, led to the arrests of two men on outstanding warrants.

Just after midnight, police pulled over 44-year-old Wilfredo Columbie-Tellez of Houston in the 1100 block of US Highway 290 West.

Following an investigation, Columbie-Tellez was taken into custody on an active warrant out of Ft. Bend County for Possession of Identifying Information/Between 10-and-50 Items.

He was taken to the Washington County Jail.

Just before 11:00 p.m., Monday, police pulled over 27-year-old Christain Salgado of Brenham for a moving violation in the 800 block of South Chappell Hill St.

Salgado was arrested for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and for an active warrant out of Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Driving While License Invalid with a Previous Conviction.

He was also transported to the Washington County Jail.
