BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE ON WEDNESDAY

  

Brenham Police arrested three people in two separate incidents Wednesday.

Just before 10:00 in the morning, Sergeant Jonathan Phipps, initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1800 block of Highway 290 West.  The driver, Derek Aurel Dow, 23 of Houston, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.  $3,565 was also seized during the traffic stop.

At 9:20 Wednesday evening, officers with the Brenham Police Department, were dispatched to the 1100 block of East Alamo Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the homeowner had items taken from inside their home.  Tancello Randle, 42 of Brenham, and Lisa Burks, 36 of Brenham, were arrested and booked in on burglary of a habitation and transported to the Washington County Jail.
