Police chase ends near Navasota
A Houston man has been arrested in Grimes County, charged with a pair of Tuesday bank robberies in College Station.
Authorities took 21-year-old Waseem Khalil of Houston into custody following the robberies, Tuesday.
Few details are available, but authorities do say both robberies occurred at Wells Fargo banks: one at Southwest Parkway and Texas Avenue, the other at Rock Prairie Road and Longmire Drive.
Khalil was arrested a short time later on the side of Highway 6 near Navasota, following a brief chase.
