SCHULENBURG FESTIVAL RETURNS AUGUST 5-8

In two weeks, the National Party of Texas returns to Wolters Park in Schulenburg.

The 43rd Annual Schulenburg Festival is set for Thursday through Sunday, August 5-8, after not being held last year due to COVID-19.

In addition to four days of music, the festival will feature activities like the Grand Festival Parade on Sunday, rodeo action on Friday and Saturday, barbecue and chili cook-offs, a carnival, and tournaments for basketball, softball and golf.

Entertainment kicks off on Thursday with local band Southbound 955 and continues on Friday with Pauline Reese, Little Texas and Kolby Cooper.

The music continues on Saturday with performances from the Texas Sundown Band, Tracy and Resendis, the Texas Unlimited Band (TUB) and Shane Smith and the Saints.  The festival will round out on Sunday with The Telstars and another performance from TUB.

No pre-sale tickets will be sold this year; all admission will be purchased at the gate.
