MEMORIAL FOR COACH LEROY DREYER SET FOR AUGUST 7TH
A celebration of the life of Blinn College legendary coach and administrator Leroy Dreyer will be held next month on the Blinn Campus in Brenham.
Dreyer died January 30th at the age of 90.
He was the face of Blinn athletics for over 35 years, as a coach and athletic director.
Over his 27 years as the Bucs’ head baseball coach, the team was 653 and 249, while advancing to the World Series five times. He was also coach of the year 12 times.
The service will be held Saturday night, August 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Leroy Dreyer Field on the Blinn College campus.
A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Blinn Student Center across from the ball park.
