BURTON SHOOTING SUSPECT INDICTED

  

The man accused of seriously injuring a Burton man during a drive-by shooting at a Burton convenience store has been indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury.

36-year-old Joshua Christopher Crowley of Round Rock was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Assault while Discharging a Firearm while Driving a Motor Vehicle, four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm, two counts of Attempted Assault of a Peace Officer, and Assault of a Public Servant.

Crowley is suspected of randomly firing multiple rounds from his moving vehicle at several people at the backside of the Burton Short Stop on May 2nd.  His 4-year-old son was with him at the time of the shooting, and was at the center of an Amber Alert before being reunited with his mother.

The man wounded in the shooting, 38-year-old Bradley Locke, continues to recover after being flown to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

Crowley remains in the Washington County Jail on $1,575,000 bond.

Also indicted by the 21st District Grand Jury:

35-year-old Desmonia Jonaye Curtis of Houston, charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

42-year-old Tancello Randle of Chappell Hill, for Continuous Violence Against the Family.

32-year-old Justin Brdley Galyean of Houston, indicted for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Conviction.

31-year-old Brandon Jerome Patterson of Burton, for Theft of Property $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions.

25-year-old Miguel Angel Rosas Salazar of Brenham and 19-year-old Jewelien L. Silmon of Houston, both for Evading Arrest or Detention Using a Vehicle.

34-year-old Carl Austin Blystone of Washington, charged with Driving While Intoxicated Third or More.

22-year-old Michelle Katherine Bilskey of Burnett, indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Repeat Offender.

29-year-old Alex John Barraza of Cypress, 35-year-old Alyssa Castillo of Navasota, 24-year-old Brenden Christopher Dupre of Mamou, Louisiana, 43-year-old John Cecil Kesee of Brenham, 56-year-old Rodolfo Rosales of Weatherford, and 58-year-old John Edward Russup of Brenham, all for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Three people were previously indicted on June 21st by the Washington County Grand Jury and have since been arrested, so their names can now be released:

39-year-old James Warren Bradley of Chappell Hill, indicted for Sexual Assault Prohibited/Purported Spouse.

32-year-old Johnnie Hardman of Chappell Hill, charged with Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.

24-year-old Chandler Renee Horak of Brenham, for Injury to a Child – Serious Bodily Injury.

47-year-old Tracy McCullough of Brenham was no-billed by the Grand Jury on a charge of Terroristic Threat Against a Peace Officer or Judge.
