SEC UNANIMOUSLY VOTES IN UT/OU

This afternoon the presidents of SEC schools unanimously (14-0) voted to extend memberships to The Universities of Texas and Oklahoma. Expectations are the state flagship schools will accept the invitations. They will be eligible to join the SEC on July 1, 2025 and begin play in all sports for the 2025-26 season. The news comes just two days after Texas and Oklahoma formally submitted applications to join the SEC.
