TWO ARRESTED ON WEEKEND D.W.I. CHARGES LOCALLY

Two people face DWI charges after their arrests in Brenham this weekend.
On Saturday, just after 3:30 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on an SUV, in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street on a moving violation.
Officers report smelling alcohol while speaking with the driver.

46-year-old Barry Jackson of Lincoln, was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense.
Sunday night, just after 8:00, local police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Alamo and South Austin streets.
An investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Ryan Woodard of Brenham for Driving While Intoxicated.
Both drivers were taken to the Washington County Jail.
