TWO ARRESTED BY LOCAL POLICE ON WARRANTS

  

Brenham Police have made two arrests on outstanding warrants.

Monday afternoon, just after 2:30, police responded to a disturbance call at in the 2600 block of Schulte Blvd., west of Highway 36 South.

At the scene, 18-year-old Jaylon Hernandez of Brenham, was arrested on an active warrant out of Richardson County Sheriff’s Office for Assault Family Violance.

Hernandez was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then, just after 1:00 Tuesday morning, Patrol Officers with the Brenham Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of US Hwy 290 West due to an equipment violation.

During the traffic stop officers found narcotics in the vehicle. 25-year-old Yanny Quian of Houston was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Travis County for Theft of Property Between $100-and-$750 and Possession of Marijuana.

Quian was also taken to the Washington County Jail.
