TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO D.W.I. ARREST AND OTHER CHARGES

A Cypress man faces multiple charges after a traffic stop, late Tuesday night.
Around 11:30, Brenham Police pulled over a vehicle in the 1400 block of State Highway 36 North for an expired registration.
The driver, 28-year-old Mitchell Smith of Cypress was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More Offense, Driving While License Invalid/Enhanced and Possession of Marijuana.
Smith was transported to the Washington County Jail.
