BRENHAM POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN THEFT AT AT&T STORE
Brenham police are searching for two men accused of stealing cell phones from the local AT&T store.
Police responded to a theft call at the store in the 100 block of Highway 290 West just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
According to Community Resource Officer Marley Mayo, two unidentified Black men entered the store and stole four cell phones after using bolt cutters to cut the security cables. They then fled the scene in a silver SUV.
Mayo said no weapons were involved, and no one was injured during the theft. The value of the cell phones was under $2,000.
The suspects were wearing all black clothing with orange masks over their faces.
The case, which is considered state jail felony theft, remains under investigation.
