BRENHAM FIREMAN’S FIESTA SATURDAY AT FIREMAN’S TRAINING CENTER
The Brenham Fire Department will turn up the heat this weekend at its 52nd Annual Fireman’s Fiesta.
Tomorrow (Saturday) night’s fundraiser at the Fireman’s Training Center seeks to provide the department with additional funds to purchase new fire and rescue equipment, training and water rescue supplies, as well as upgrades to the Fireman's Training Center.
Brenham Fire Department President Billy Ruemke says the support from the community at past fiestas has been overwhelming, and has greatly helped the fire department become what it is today.
From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., guests will be treated to a steak and sausage dinner with all the trimmings, along with auctions and drawings.
Tickets are $15 and are available at the fire station and from members of the fire department. They can also be purchased at Dan’s Meat Market, K&M Grocery and Robert’s Service Station. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door and the drive-thru.
