THREE ARRESTED FOLLOWING WEEKEND TRAFFIC STOPS
Weekend traffic stops by Brenham Police resulted in multiple arrests.

Friday, just before midnight police initiated a traffic stop in the 2700 block of U.S. Hwy 290 East for speeding.
The driver, 23-year-old Conner Mehdi Jebaqui of Houston, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Sunday afternoon, just after 3:30, police stopped a vehicle in the 3500 block of U.S. Hwy 290 East for speeding.

A search revealed the driver to be in possession of narcotics and a firearm. 37-year-old Markus Davis of Austin, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
And, Sunday afternoon, police initiated a traffic stop in the in the 3400 block of U.S. 290 East for Displaying and altered, fictious tag.

The vehicle was discovered to have a salvaged title and cannot be operated on the roadway and the temporary tag was discovered to be fictitious.
20-year-old De Asia Adams of Brenham, was arrested and charged with Non-Repairable and Salvage Motor Vehicle Violation.
