BRENHAM RESTAURANT TO ASSIST FUNDRAISER FOR BURTON BRIDG MINISTRY

  

 

A Brenham restaurant is helping the Burton Bridge Ministry with a fund-raiser, this week.

Pioneer Smokehouse and Mercantile, at 309 South Park Street in Brenham will be donating a portion of all sales Thursday, to the Ministry.

Mark Renn, owner and operator of Pioneer Smokehouse and Mercantile, has pledged 10% of all purchases Thursday to the Ministry’s building fund.

Renn, the organizing pastor of the Pioneer Mission Community Church, will donate 10% of all purchases, including: dine-in, to-go, pre-order, merchandise and tokens, purchased Thursday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and 5-and-10:00 p.m.

The Burton Bridge Ministry has set a goal of raising $250,000 to enhance their food and feeding programs as well as expanding its thrift store retail space.  They currently host a mobile food pantry that serves more than 375 clients in Brenham, Burton, Carmine and Chappell Hill.
