THREE ARRESTED ON LOCAL ASSAULT CHARGES
Three people have been arrested by Brenham Police over the weekend on assault charges.
Friday afternoon, just before 5:00 police were called to the 500 block of Church Street in reference to an assault.
20-year-old Gshaun Crosby of Brenham, was transported to Washington County Jail and booked on Assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Saturday just before 10:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the 800 block of Hosea St. to a disturbance.
At the scene, 28-year-old Travis Cooper of Brenham was placed in custody for Assault Family Violence and taken to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday night, just after 8:00 p.m. authorities were called to the 2800 block of Woodridge Blvd. in reference to a fight.
Investigation revealed that 25-year-old Jorge Perez of Brenham, reportedly tried to assault the victim with a vehicle.
Perez was charged with Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon.
