WATER TOWER AT BSSLC TAKEN DOWN – VIDEO
Work crews have taken down the old water tower at the Brenham State Supported Living Center (BSSLC).
The water tower, which is no longer in use, was brought down this (Thursday) morning.
According to the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), the water tower became too costly to maintain for the BSSLC, which has had its water service provided by the City of Brenham since August 13th.
The tower will be divided into sections for removal and disposal. The HHSC says that process should be completed by next week, barring any weather-related issues.
The demolition is being conducted by Lindamood.
