TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL WARRANTS

Two Brenham men have been arrested on outstanding warrants over the weekend.
Friday, the Brenham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Officers met with 24-year-old Gustavo Enrique Salas, from Brenham, at the Washington County Jail.
Salas was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Sexual Assault of a Child, a criminal indictment out of 21st District Court.

Also Friday, Crime Reduction Officers responded to a residence on Carrington Lane in reference to a warrant arrest.
33-year-old Terrence Barnett of Brenham, was located and arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
Barnett was charged with: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Mischief and traffic warrants.
Both were taken to the Washington County Jail.
