FAITH MISSION ACCEPTING SUPPLIES, MONETARY DONATIONS FOR HURRICANE IDA VICTIMS

As cleanup continues in Louisiana following Hurricane Ida, Faith Mission in Brenham is offering opportunities for the public to support relief efforts.

Citizens can drop off donations of water, diapers, wipes and other supplies today (Monday) through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Faith Mission Health and Services Center at 100 South Chappell Hill Street.

The organization also has donation accounts set up through its Neighbors Helping Neighbors Disaster Relief Program at Bank of Brenham, Brenham National Bank and Citizens State Bank.

Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells says the donations will be delivered to Louisiana this weekend to assist families who continue to deal with the aftermath of the hurricane.
