Barefoot in the Park plays on the Main Stage for three weekends from tomorrow through October 10th.

In Barefoot in the Park, newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter are beginning their life together in their new apartment in Manhattan.  The two are a prime example of opposites attracting, as Paul is a straight-laced lawyer and Corie a romantic free spirit.  Corie decides to set her conservative widowed mother up with their eccentric, bohemian neighbor and a wild night ensues, one that highlights just how different Corie and Paul really are.

Crystal O’Brien, who stars as Corie, says the show is very lighthearted and also carries a positive message.

Joining Crystal on stage is her husband, Justin O’Brien, who plays Paul.  She says it is great to be able to share their passion for theatre together, and believes it makes them both better.

Tomorrow night’s preview performance will include a talk-back with the cast and crew after the show.  Director Jimmy Phillips will speak before the show on Saturday, October 2nd.

Regular tickets are $27, while tickets to the preview performance are $19.  Student tickets are $15 and any tickets for seats not sold 15 minutes before the show will be $15.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 979-830-8358 or visiting www.unitybrenham.org.
