A local church has contributed to Faith Mission’s relief efforts in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida.
Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church of Brenham donated approximately 53 cases of bottled water this (Thursday) morning to the Faith Mission Health and Service Center.
The water, along with other supplies, will be delivered this weekend to several locations in Louisiana to assist families who continue to struggle amid the aftermath of the hurricane.
Citizens can continue to drop off donations of water, diapers, wipes and other items until 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Health and Service Center at 100 South Chappell Hill Street.

Donation accounts are set up through Faith Mission’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Disaster Relief Program at Bank of Brenham, Brenham National Bank and Citizens State Bank.
KWHI and KTEX-106 raised $885 for Hurricane Ida relief, thanks to all the people who came by our booth at the Washington County Fair and spun the Wagon Wheel of Prizes.
