BRENHAM POLICE ARREST FOUR OVER WEEKEND
Four people were arrested in separate incidents by the Brenham Police Department over the weekend.
On Friday, at 9:30 AM, Officers with the Brenham Police Department were notified of a wanted subject inside of the jurisdiction of the City of Brenham. The suspect, Quintin Lee Carr (35) of Brenham, was located and placed in custody on outstanding warrant out of Washington County for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Duty to Register. On Friday, at 8:45 PM, Corporal Zackary Greig responded to the 2600 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a theft. After investigation a suspect identified as Javier Velazquez, 18 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Theft of Property. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On Saturday, Officers with the Brenham Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Highway 290 East, on a 4-door passenger car, due to an equipment violation. During the investigation officers found narcotics in the vehicle. The Suspect James Singleton, (31) of Pflugerville, was taken into custody on several narcotic charges and Possession of a Firearm by Felon.

On Sunday, at 4:10 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a hit and run. Officers later found the suspect in a nearby parking lot. Suspect Narciso Uvalle, (45) of Hempstead, was taken into custody for Leaving Scene of Accident and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
