The Washington County Ladies Lions Club has donated $5,000 to a residential summer camp for children with disabilities.

At its meeting on September 13th, the club donated proceeds from its annual fundraiser to Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, which provides a camp experience for children who are diagnosed with disabilities such as Type 1 diabetes, Down syndrome and cancer.

Receiving the donation was Texas Lions Camp Chairman Wes Carter and Camp Director Wayne Dickey.
