BLINN TO HOST ARTS AND DIVERSITY EXHIBITION IN BRENHAM

  

Blinn College will host an exhibit Saturday to celebrate art and cultures from around the world.

The Arts and Diversity Exhibition will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Brenham Campus Student Center, and will feature entries from Brenham ISD and Blinn’s Brenham and Bryan campuses.  The exhibit is sponsored by the College District’s Title IX, Institutional Diversity, and Equity Department.

Dr. Adrienne McCain, Manager of Title IX, Institutional Diversity, and Equity, said the exhibit will showcase artists’ cultural expressions and “provide inclusive opportunities of cross-cultural experiences for faculty, staff, students, and the community-at-large.”

Blinn alumnus Kevin Newsome will serve as guest artist for the exhibit.  Newsome earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Arts from the College in 2013.
