THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED BY BRENHAM PD OVER WEEKEND
Three people were arrested in separate incidents this weekend by the Brenham Police Department.
On Saturday, near 10:00 PM, officers responded to Walmart in reference to a report of an intoxicated person. A male subject, Andrew Stark, 33 of Austin, was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.
Sunday morning, at 10:20 AM, Sergeant Joseph Merkley initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 West, south frontage road, due to an equipment violation. The driver, 35-year-old Jamie Eugene Houston of Brenham, was arrested for two outstanding warrants. One for Assault of a Family Member and one for Driving While License Invalid.
Also Sunday morning at 11:50 AM, Officer Armando Guerra conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of Highway 290 West, for an obscured temporary tag. The driver, Landon Davis, 24 of Houston, was placed in custody for Money Laundering between $2500 and $30,000, Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Marijuana and booked at Washington County Jail.
