HUNDREDS ATTEND 15TH ANNUAL KIDFISH

Hundreds of anglers came out Saturday for the 15th Annual KIDFISH at Brenham’s Blue Bell Aquatic Center.

Over 450 people enjoyed a fun, laid-back fishing experience as hundreds of pounds of catfish were dumped into the aquatic center’s outdoor leisure pool.

Winners on Saturday included:

Age 6 and under:

  • 1st place – Cayson Herrin, caught the biggest fish of the day at 27.75”.
  • 2nd place – Jeremiah McClannahan, caught a 20” fish.

Age 7-11

  • 1st place – Hayden Hartstack, caught a 21.5” fish.
  • 2nd place – Kaleb Riske, caught a 20.75” fish.

Age 12-17:

  • 1st place – Wayne Browning Jr., caught a 27.5” fish.
  • 2nd place – Wayne Browning III, caught a 26.75” fish.

Guests were also able to visit with local first responders, earn Boy and Girl Scout badges, play games and tackle an inflatable obstacle course in the indoor competition pool.
