SEVERAL ALTERCATIONS, INCIDENTS AT WALLER HIGH SCHOOL WEDNESDAY
Several Waller High School students face discipline after a series of incidents on campus Wednesday.
In communication to Waller ISD families, Waller High School Principal Stephanie Fletcher said the first altercation occurred in the morning and was the result of an “out of school conflict” between two groups of students. Fletcher said the incident ended in less than a minute after intervention from staff and Harris County School Resource Officers.
Two students and a staff member were transported to the hospital for evaluation, but are now home.
The second altercation occurred during lunch, where a group of students, according to Fletcher, had a “negative encounter” that was stopped by staff before it “escalated to more than words.”
A third incident happened around 1:15 p.m., when a student was found in possession of a plastic toy gun.
Medical authorities were called to the school again to assist an individual who was experiencing a medical emergency.
Fletcher said all of the incidents are unrelated, and anyone breaking rules “will be disciplined to the fullest extent of our student handbook, student code of conduct, and the law.”
Critical race theory would be my first guesstimate.
This is all a lie I was there Wednesday when it happened
Well now I’m curious, what actually happened?
Has anyone seen a statement from the superintendent? I’ve searched and can’t find one.
In the making for 40 years…. This is what you get when you take God, discipline, & education out of the classroom. The path of least resistance is often the path that leads straight to hell.
Until every child fighting in all these videos going around, are held accountable, with serious consequences, it’s going to get worse. They should have all been arrested, and taken to jail. From what I’m hearing from kids that were at school, the cops, administration, and coaches that were trying to control the situation were out numbered. Control was lost. When the kids aren’t afraid and continue to fight with police presence in the school, you have lost control. Time to bring a bus and start filling it up and hauling them to jail. The kids that are at school to learn and get along shouldn’t have to fear going to school or changing classes because of their race. It truly breaks my heart. I don’t know what the fights were over but I’m hearing it’s stemming from racism. I’ve had children at Waller high school since, 2004 and I never saw racism till recently. This was something Waller, as diverse as it is, has NEVER had an issue with. I first started seeing it at the high school at the time of the election last year. It’s so sad to see the division today. I’m praying for change and peace to all!
Racism and division is deff being taught because of all the media and speculation going around it’s disgusting. I have middle school/ high school kids call me racist because I’ve had to reprimand them for their attitudes and actions and suddenly that means it’s because of the color of their skin and not their actions. Good his stuff is being taught and it’s not ok something needs to be done, we need to be one nation under all not divided so that people can turn everyone against each other.
I’m a current student at the school and being There seeing the aftermath I can tell you it wasn’t a thing of racial differences this was a altercation between gangs there was a total of 11 confirmed fights and the Sad part is students were afraid and some Tried to help but one of those who tried to help stop it were dragged into it 4 fights happened before school started 7 before 10 am
Bwahahahaha! If you’ve never seen racism before in Waller schools, then you’ve been living with your eyes closed! Waller County is and always has been known as racist. In fact, my racist grandfather used to brag about it, and it is disgusting to pretend it wasn’t there because you just didn’t want to see it.
I went to that school in 2002 and believe me race is an issue. Not only race but also kids that announced what gang they were in daily just so you wouldn’t forget! Drugs were passed around in the school like it was normal. Coming from a small school in Alaska to what I thought was a small town Waller High, was very overwhelming and caused me to withdrawal and complete my last year in homeschool. Without serious changes I doubt the school has gotten any better in the last twenty years. In 2019 my kids went to Waller Schultz middle school for one year and that was enough. Fights, students slapping teachers on the butt and endless race threats yeah we were over it.
