BRENHAM PD HOLDING ‘NO SHAVE NOVEMBER’ FUNDRAISER FOR CHARITY
Members of the Brenham Police Department will put down the razor next month to raise money for a local charity.

The department is once again taking part in “No Shave November”, and will allow officers to have facial hair from November 1-30 if they make a $50 donation to the cause. Money raised will go to Adam’s Angels Ministry, which provides support for families fighting childhood cancer.
Female officers are allowed to have ponytails and colorful fingernails if they wish.
Last year, the department raised $6,000 through donations, community donations and officer sponsorships.
Citizens and businesses are invited to participate in the fundraiser by sponsoring an officer or donating. Anyone interested in sponsoring an officer can make out a check to Adam’s Angels in the amount they wish to donate and place the officer’s name in the memo line.
Businesses that cannot donate to a non-profit can make their donations out to the Brenham Police Department, but are asked to specify that their donations are for the no shave fundraiser.
