FORMER BURTON PANTHER CALEB HARMEL NAMED SAA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

After an outstanding defensive game this past weekend Trinity Tiger Linebacker and former Panther Caleb Harmel was named Southern Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week.

The accolades did not end there as he was also named to the D3football.com team of the week list.  Harmel's play helped Trinity to a 28-27 victory over Birmingham-Southern College and clinch the conference championship. In the game Harmel had 11 tackles, including 1 sack and 2.5 tackles for loss. On the year Harmel leads the team in tackles, is tied for second in interceptions, and is third on the team in tackles for loss.
