TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO THE ARREST OF A CYPRESS WOMAN

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Cypress woman Wednesday afternoon.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday at 1:15 PM, Lt. Kelvin Raven initiated a traffic stop in the area of Highway 290 and FM 389 for a traffic violation. A probable cause search revealed the passenger, April Elaine Jenkins 37 of Cypress, was in possession of medication with no prescription. Jenkins was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with Possession of a Control Substance and Possession of Marijuana, under 2oz.
