WASHINGTON CO. MAN KILLED IN SHOOTING IN NAVASOTA
A Washington County man is dead after a shooting late Thursday night in Navasota.
According to Navasota Police Chief Shawn Myatt, police received a call around 10:15 p.m. reporting shots fired in the area of Foster Street.
When officers arrived, they found one victim, identified as 24-year-old Fredrick Santee, dead at the scene.
Myatt said investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and no suspect is in custody.
