ONE TRANSPORTED AFTER ACCIDENT IN CHAPPELL HILL
One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident Monday night in Chappell Hill.
The Brenham Fire Department was called out at 7:30 p.m. to a crash on Highway 290 East, roughly half a mile past FM 1371.
When units arrived, they found the driver inside the vehicle, which was laying on its side.
Chappell Hill firefighters assisted the Brenham Fire Department in removing the patient from the vehicle. Brenham firefighters used sawing equipment to peel back the roof.
The driver was taken by ambulance to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. No update has been provided on the patient’s condition.
