Sutton agrees to a 4 year deal with the Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with WR Courtland Sutton on a four year contract extension that is worth a reported $60.8 million. Sutton, who is from Brenham, has spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Broncos. He was drafted by Denver in the second round in 2018 after playing collegiately at SMU. Sutton's breakout season for the Broncos was in his second year which saw him make 72 receptions for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns.

After missing most of last season with an ACL tear, Sutton has returned to form this season. Through ten games, he is Denver's leading receiver with 43 receptions for 617 yards, an average of 14.3 yards per catch, and two touchdowns. For his career thus far, Sutton has 160 receptions for 2,499 yards, and 12 touchdowns. The Broncos host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at 3:05pm.
