FAITH MISSION TO SERVE THANKSGIVING MEAL THURSDAY AT CANNERY KITCHEN

Faith Mission in Brenham will host its annual Thanksgiving meal tomorrow (Thursday) for community members who are in need.

A traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey, dressing, gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry salad, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumpkin pie will be served at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham.  Doors will open at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served in the dining room from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Faith Mission Operations Director Lawrence Greer says for years, the meal has brought people from all around the community together for the holidays.

Greer says Faith Mission is also grateful for the continued support from volunteers who help to organize the event.

In addition to the in-person lunch, meals will be delivered to residents who are homebound or physically disabled.  Faith Mission will take calls for meal delivery through today (Wednesday) at 979-830-1488.

  1. Such a good group from all reports.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. I am going to have to miss the family and friends along with the turkey and other goodies. Oh well Ceviche peruano will have to do.

Be well, be welcoming, be thankful, LGB
