SOMERVILLE TO HOST SANTAVILLE DEC. 11
The City of Somerville is getting ready for Santaville.
The free event is set for Saturday, December 11th at Welch Park.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can shop from various vendors near the park pavilion for food, beverages, crafts and gifts.
Children will have many activities to look forward to from 3 to 5 p.m., including a toy walk, train rides, music, cookies and a visit from Santa. There will also be giant stocking and bicycle giveaways.
The highlight of the day will be the Lighted Christmas Parade beginning at dark, or roughly 6 p.m.
To register to participate in the parade or the giveaways, contact Somerville City Hall at 979-596-1122. The deadline to sign up for the parade is December 9th, and the last day to register for the giveaways is December 10th.
