BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER BOND ITEMS
The Burton School Board will meet Monday to discuss multiple items pertaining to Burton ISD’s bond project.
The board will potentially select an architect, construction delivery method and construction manager-agent for the project, and will possibly adopt a prevailing wage rate.
Trustees will also consider delegating authority to the superintendent to work with the district’s legal counsel on the board’s behalf to negotiate and execute the necessary construction contracts related to the project.
Funding from the $43.8 million bond approved by voters in November will be used to upgrade and renovate the district’s academic and athletic facilities.
The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at the Burton ISD Administration Office. The meeting will be open for in-person attendance and through virtual audio connection, using the information below.
